Baby Elephant Card Sunny Studio Stamps

Hello, my friends.
I've created a card using Sunny Studio Baby Elephant Stamps and Dies and several other products.  This card was so fun to make.  I love the way the cloudy night sky came out.  I used Lawn Fawn Deep Sea Dye Ink and the Cloudy Stencil, also by Lawn Fawn.  I heat embossed white stars using Versimark Ink and WOW Superfine White Embossing Powder. The sentiment comes from the Baby Elephant Stamp Set.  I used Versifine Onyx Black Pigment Ink and coated it with WOW Superfine Clear Embossing Powder, then heated it with my heat tool.

I hope you like this card. I'd love to hear your comments or just say hello below.

All of the supplies I used are listed below... sorry... no links yet.

A video will be coming soon of the creation of this card.

Lemon Zest Cards

Hello zesty friends.

Today's cards were made with the Spellbinders Lemon Zest die set.  I cut the lemons, leaves, branches, and flowers from Hammermill 80# white cardstock.  I colored the die cuts with alcohol markers.  After I colored the die cuts, I flipped them over and used an embossing stylus to rub the centers of the die cuts.  This creates depth and dimension on the card without creating a lot of bulk.

On the card above, I colored the die cuts with Spectrum Noir Triblend Alcohol Markers.  For the card below I used Ohuhu Alcohol Markers.  I wanted to compare the two.  I'm pleasantly surprised that the Ohuhu markers are just as vibrant as the Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

For both cards, the backgrounds were also cut from Hammermill 80# cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Slimline With Hearts, Portrait Die (minus the hearts).  I used the Clearly Besotted Basic Stripes II stencil and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide Ink to create the striped background.

The big hugs sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's Big Script Words Stamp & Die set.

Spectrum Noir colors: EB4+EB7 = branches, DG3 + DG4 = leaves, CT1 + CT3 + CT4 = lemons
AP1 + AP3 and FS6, FS7 & FS8 = Blossoms.

Ohuhu colors: E050 + RV270 + 0 = Blossoms, GY5 + GY8 = leaves, BR1 + E310 + E170 = Branches, Y050 + GY6 + Y030 = lemons.

The inside sentiment is from "I Miss Your Hugs" by My Favorite Things.

Ice Ice Plushies

Hello friends... it's me, Shannon Lee with another card made with a stamp set from Clearly Besotted called "Ice Ice Plushies".  These are the cutest little guys with ice cream treats and a little ice cream cart.  I used a "Cloudy" stencil from Lawn Fawn, a "Love is in the air" stencil from My Favorite Things and a die from Mama Elephant called "Birthday Wishes" (I think, I forgot to write that one down).  The grass was created with dies from My Favorite Things.

I used Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers to color the characters and cart.  I highlighted them with a white gel pen from Arteza.

I hope you like this card. Please leave a comment below to let me know what types of cards you'd like to see next.

Thanks for stopping by friends!

One Of My First Cards

I found this picture recently of one of the first cards I ever made. It's amazing how much I've improved since 2018.  Not that this card is bad, but I can think of several things I would do differently if I made this card today.

To start, I would probably distress the edges of the gingham scrapbook paper with ink.  That often creates a better visual effect than the clean edges do.

Also, I might choose different bling.  I'm over my sequin phase.  I prefer pearls or gems over sequins these days.  I'm not saying there's anything wrong with sequins, I just prefer pearls and gems.  Who knows what I'll like next week?

Finally, I wouldn't use the textured paper as the mat.  This is another phase I've out grown.  I prefer smooth cardstock over textured cardstock for mats.  I do like textured cardstock for focal die cuts though.

Please let me know what you think of this card and what you would do the same or different, in the comments below.

Bye for now.

On The Farm 5" x 7" Greeting Cards

For these cards, I used products from LDRS Creative, My Favorite Things, Penny Black, Clearly Besotted, Lawn Fawn, and Mama Elephant.  The Barns are from LDRS Creative. The pasture (grassy hills) is from Penny Black.  The sunshine is Lawn Fawn. The clouds are made using a stencil from My Favorite Things... I think.

In the card above, the pig and cow are from a Mama Elephant stamp set.

When you read this and want to know what specific products I used, please leave a comment and I will provide all of the information requested.

In this card, I used a goat and small cow from a Clearly Besotted Stamp Set.  The large cow is from a Mama Elephant Stamp Set. The milk can is from My Favorite Things.

On this card, the horse and cow are Mama Elephant... I can't remember where the tractor is from.

On this card, the farmer and the little horse are from a Clearly Besotted set. The larger horse is from a Mama Elephant set.

On this card, I used sheep and the farmer from a Clearly Besotted set.  The cow is from a My Favorite Things set.
