Handmade greeting cards made with a stamp set from Clearly Besotted. I used my Brother Scan And Cut to cut the images close to the outline. The sentiments are also from Clearly Besotted stamp sets. Most of the bling is from Honey Bee Stamps.

One Of My First Cards

I found this picture recently of one of the first cards I ever made. It's amazing how much I've improved since 2018.  Not that this card is bad, but I can think of several things I would do differently if I made this card today.

To start, I would probably distress the edges of the gingham scrapbook paper with ink.  That often creates a better visual effect than the clean edges do.

Also, I might choose different bling.  I'm over my sequin phase.  I prefer pearls or gems over sequins these days.  I'm not saying there's anything wrong with sequins, I just prefer pearls and gems.  Who knows what I'll like next week?

Finally, I wouldn't use the textured paper as the mat.  This is another phase I've out grown.  I prefer smooth cardstock over textured cardstock for mats.  I do like textured cardstock for focal die cuts though.

Please let me know what you think of this card and what you would do the same or different, in the comments below.

Bye for now.

Triple Step Blooming Heart Cards

These cards are inspired by a video of cards made by Jennifer McGuire using Concord & 9th products.

I used sets called "Triple Step Blooming Heart" stamps and dies by Concord &9th.  Most of the paper used is by Concord & 9th and My Favorite Things. The Polka Dotted Background stamp is from My Favorite Things... I think.

Please understand, I'm trying to put together a blog of cards I've made in the last 3 years.  For most of them, I remember the companies that make the products, but I don't remember the names of the stamps and die sets. I will update frequently as I come across this information.

On The Farm 5" x 7" Greeting Cards

For these cards, I used products from LDRS Creative, My Favorite Things, Penny Black, Clearly Besotted, Lawn Fawn, and Mama Elephant.  The Barns are from LDRS Creative. The pasture (grassy hills) is from Penny Black.  The sunshine is Lawn Fawn. The clouds are made using a stencil from My Favorite Things... I think.

In the card above, the pig and cow are from a Mama Elephant stamp set.

When you read this and want to know what specific products I used, please leave a comment and I will provide all of the information requested.

In this card, I used a goat and small cow from a Clearly Besotted Stamp Set.  The large cow is from a Mama Elephant Stamp Set. The milk can is from My Favorite Things.

On this card, the horse and cow are Mama Elephant... I can't remember where the tractor is from.

On this card, the farmer and the little horse are from a Clearly Besotted set. The larger horse is from a Mama Elephant set.

On this card, I used sheep and the farmer from a Clearly Besotted set.  The cow is from a My Favorite Things set.
